What We Do
Special Projects: DCCESV is committed to working with community stakeholders to identify and develop collaborative solutions that grow programs and fill gaps.
Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM): Every April, the District comes together to raise awareness about sexual assault and celebrate organizations supporting survivors and allies.
DCCESV is working with five local African-American churches to prepare parishioners to provide support to other members in need of sexual assault services and resources. The goal of this project is to increase congregants’ awareness of sexual violence resources in the city and to deepen their understanding of gender-based violence, prevention, and intervention.
