Joining the Coalition

The DC Coalition to End Sexual Violence (DCCESV) is a member-driven alliance dedicated to strengthening Washington, DC’s collective response to sexual violence. Our membership brings together a wide range of organizations and leaders who are committed to supporting survivors, preventing violence, and advancing equity across systems.

What we’re building together

Our voting members are organizations that provide direct services to survivors of sexual violence in Washington, DC. These include agencies offering crisis intervention, counseling, legal advocacy, housing support, medical care, and prevention programming.

Defining our impact

Voting members contribute deep, on-the-ground insight into the needs of survivors and communities across the District. Each voting member operates from a survivor-centered, trauma-informed framework, ensuring that the Coalition’s work remains rooted in the realities and priorities of those most impacted.

A robust network

These partners include government agencies that support public safety, health, and victim services; colleges and universities working to address campus-based sexual violence; and military installations committed to supporting service members and addressing sexual assault within their ranks. While not voting members, these stakeholders play an essential role in strengthening the continuum of care for survivors through collaboration, resource-sharing, and cross-sector coordination.

Together, our members and partners form a powerful, united network working to end sexual violence and build a safer, more just Washington, DC.

In addition to our voting members, DCCESV engages key stakeholders whose experience and leadership are vital to a comprehensive, city-wide response.
